One room done.... and I have the rest of the house to go. It's a start though!
I started... and finished with the laundry room. IT TOOK ALL DAY! My mom came over and helped me out by watching Camron. I couldn't have done it without her... so thanks mom! I took some pictures of what it looks like now. I really wish I had taken some "before" pictures to compare the "after" pictures with. Just know that this is a HUGE improvement!!

This used to have clothes and other junk piled as high as these boxes! These boxes are the beginning of our packing... As I pack up more stuff around the house they'll be stacked up with these.
I know this may look messy to some, but these shelves used to be piled high with empty detergent bottles, trash and other random stuff.... Just trust me that it's a huge improvement!
Now that our laundry room is done I'm moving on to my next challenge! Next I will tackle the downstairs bathroom and the 2 downstairs hall closets.... Here's the "before" of the one that will be most challenging: (This is supposed to be our linen closet btw. LOL.)

Looks like you are off to a great start to organizing in 2008! I am glad your mother could help out with the little one! This always makes cleaning so much easier! Good luck on that linen closet!
