We're Moving!!!

It looks like we'll be moving after all! Not across the country though... more like across town and I couldn't be more excited or happy! We made the decision to move after we found out that our rent here in military housing was being raised. Sure, we did get a pay raise and our housing allowance went up, but is our little townhouse REALLY worth $1700 a month?! And if we were to move in to a different housing area where the houses are a little nicer we'd be paying almost $2000 a month! Forget that! So we decided to go rent a house. =) I've only been searching for a house for about a week now, but we ended up finding the PERFECT house today. I'm so happy that we called the owner to take a look at it. Here's what we're getting:
- Single story house
- 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms
- 2 car garage with a washer/dryer
- an attic above the garage
- a decent sized back yard with a cute patio area
- brand new stove and dishwasher
- central air
- a fireplace
- and we're allowed pets there

All that for much less then we're paying here! Oh, and there's a pool!! Our house is in a little community of houses in a cul-da-sac and in the middle there's a pool that we all share. Another great thing about this house, I can walk places! That might sound weird, but where we're at right now is right off of a highway and there's no where to walk to. At this new house I can walk to the mall. I can walk to Target. I can even walk to the Trolly and take it to my favorite little coffee shop. I'm also less then a mile away from my best friend!!!

Can you tell I'm REALLY excited about this?? lol.

I can't wait to move in. Ugh... no more stairs to walk up and down every day. No more baby gates blocking off our stairway. No more sharing a wall with the neighbors!!! Woo Hoo!
